How to split pdf

  1. Drop a PDF onto the box, or click to browse — every page appears as a thumbnail.
  2. Select pages to keep: click the pages you want (Shift-click to pick a run of pages), then download them as one PDF.
  3. Or cut into separate files: switch tabs and click the scissors between pages to place cuts — each section becomes its own PDF.
  4. Click Split PDF to download the result (a ZIP when there are multiple files). No page numbers to type.

Split PDF — private and free

Splitting a PDF lets you pull out just the pages you need — a single chapter, one signed page, or a range to send to a colleague. SafePDF shows every page as a thumbnail so you simply click the pages you want or click the scissors where you want to cut. No typing page numbers, and every page keeps its original quality.

All processing is local, so confidential contracts and statements stay private. Point and click to build exactly the files you need.

FAQ

How do I extract specific pages?

Stay on the 'Select pages to keep' tab and click the pages you want — they highlight with a number. Shift-click to select a whole run at once. Then click Split PDF to get them as one file.

Can I split into separate files?

Yes — switch to 'Cut into separate files' and click the scissors between any pages. Each section becomes its own PDF, delivered as a ZIP. Use 'Split every page' to cut them all at once.

Is it private?

Completely. Your PDF is processed in your browser and never uploaded.
